As my vacation trip comes to an end (3 more days here until I return to São Paulo) I have a few observations to make:
1-This feels like most South-American countries but a tiny bit more European, lots of french influences in Architecture and Fashion (Granted I never left the richer parts of Buenos Aires)
2-Loads of old Peugeots and weird Ford Falcon hybrids.
3-Lots of old people means 60% of the cars on the road, even the fancier newer ones have bumps and scrapes
Here are a couple pictures I took before the missus gave me weird looks for taking photos of “shitty cars”.
I also got some shoes for 300 bucks.

The Falcon was after all produced untill 1991 and the Peugeot 504 until 1999 so I’d bet there’s still loads of them! Something cool about Argentina is that people still drive and fix old cars, something that you don’t see anymore here in Chile for example.

Go to a steakhouse and tell me if it is truly as good as Argentinians say.

I’ve been. It’s legit. They take steak seriously. I don’t know if it’s the best in the world or anything, but I’d put a pretty run of the mill Argentine steakhouse up there with Ruth’s Chris or Mancys in Toledo. The quality is very high and the value is also good.

I loved seeing those falcons. They looked like 60s cars but were built in the 80s and 90s.

This, I must know if it is true.

Awesome to hear! We used to go to an Argentinian steak house on the beach weekly, and sometimes biweekly.
